Use a P-Card

Program overview

VCU participates in the Commonwealth of Virginia Purchasing Card Program. The P-Card is a university liability card designed to help streamline the procurement and payment processes for small purchases and one-third of the University’s CorpCard Program, which includes the Travel Card (IL) and the Agency Travel Card (ATC).

The other cards are distinguishable from the P-card because the Travel Card is a personal liability card issued to employees who incur significant travel-related expenses as part of their regular jobs and the ATC solely covers the purchase or rail and airline fares.

The VCU Program is managed through Bank of America. Use of any card in this program, must be for official University business. Each card holder will have preset card limits and must manage their cards based on established University purchase guidelines.
